A specialist moulding contractor in Poole got in touch with us to see if we could install a mezzanine floor in their production unit. Due to an increase in the volume of contracts, they needed more space in their production area. They needed that additional space as soon as possible – and it needed to be completed with minimal disruption.
First Floors conducted a full assessment of the site and recommended the installation of a freestanding mezzanine floor. Once our drawings were approved, we completed the construction within three weeks. To ensure the client’s production schedule could carry on as normal, we completed the project outside production hours.
In addition to installing the mezzanine floor, we fire-rated the structure and installed LED lighting. This meant it adhered to full building control compliance.
